rak was established as R & A Kay Inspection Services Ltd in 1984 to provide professional plant inspection services to the petrochemical industry.

While this still remains a core market, the company has diversified to service both the industrial gases, utilities and chemical sectors. Today, our client list includes major blue-chip organisations such as Shell, Esso, BP, Total, BOC, National Grid, Petroplus, Essar and Sembcorp UK.

rak is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) as a type 'C' Inspection Body (No. 055), in accordance with the recognized International Standard ISO/IEC 17020.
